The Titan ZG 80B received new cylinders with a larger bore, as well as larger pistons and piston rings. All other components and dimensions are identical to the ZG 74B. The Titan ZG 80B can be identified by the cylinder with the three small longitudinal fins on the uppermost cooling fin. The increased displacement naturally results in correspondingly more power and torque, and the Titan ZG 80B is also lighter than its predecessor!

The extremely small offset between the two cylinders ensures silky-smooth running. The optimally shaped and cleanly cast intake manifold lies extremely flat against the engine. The reliable piston control system avoids problematic reed valves and leaky or even incorrectly designed rotary valves.

The excellent magneto ignition uses robust, standard-size resistance spark plugs, yet the Titan ZG 80B, including the spark plug connectors, is only 257 mm wide. The ignition cables are shielded as standard. It's bad enough forgetting to refuel in the excitement of flying; why worry about the ignition battery too?

The propeller is secured with a large central screw. In practice, this has proven to be the safest method, certainly much safer than mechanically unsound and dangerous propeller mountings with multiple screws.

Suitable propellers are the Menz S two-blade 22x12", 24x10", 26x8", and 26x10", and in three-blade versions, the 21x12", 22x10", and 22x12". The propeller for maximum performance, especially in aerobatics, is the 24x12 Super Silence CFK two-blade. The 22x12" and 23x12" Super Silence CFK three-blade propellers are ideal for quiet operation with an expansion muffler. For operation with tuned pipes, we recommend the 23x12" Super Silence CFK three-blade propeller.

The engine mount, two steel mufflers, a spark plug wrench, and the easy-start socket are included. Lightweight stainless steel mufflers, manifolds, intake funnels, and a longer propeller hub are available as accessories.
