RC PILOT SMOKE PUMPS
The Pilot-RC smoke pump is designed to be easy to install and even easier to configure.
Choose between continuous smoke or intermittent smoke, both at any flow rate you want, so no matter what design you want, we've got you covered.

Follow the basic steps outlined below and start producing clouds of smoke in no time!

Facility :

The smoke pump comes with only two wires:

Futaba connector for signal: Connect your receiver or powerbox to the output which you will use to control the on/off position as well as the flow rate.
XT60 connector for power supply - Connect a 2S lipo to the power input (6.8V-13V voltage input)
We do not recommend joining both sets of positive and negative wires together in order to draw power directly from the receiver or power box!
Connect the pump fittings to the smoke tank and the evacuation tubes, paying particular attention to the direction of flow, indicated on the pump by an engraved arrow.
Radio setup:

All configuration is done via radio, using a single channel:

-100% to -30% radio signal, the pump is ON with intermittent smoke flow. The higher the %, the greater the fuel flow.
-30% to +30% radio signal (central channel) the pump is OFF
+30% to +100% radio signal, the pump is ON with a continuous flow of smoke. The higher the %, the greater the fuel flow
You can also use the LED on the smoke pump to read its current status:

Solid red: power is on, voltage is incorrect (lower than 6.8V or higher than 13V)
Flashing red: Overcurrent, please check that the pump is not blocked or stuck
Solid blue: radio signal lost
Flashing blue: Pump running, in intermittent flow mode
Steady green: power is on, voltage is correct (between 6.8V and 13V)
Flashing green: Pump running, in continuous flow mode
