The 470EFL main rotor head provides superior flight stability and features a lower center of gravity design to reduce drag while allowing for a stiffer and faster rotor head response. To improve the strength and durability of the main and spring shafts, the 470 mainshaft's outer dimension has been increased from 5mm to 6mm, while the spring shaft's outer dimension has been increased from 4mm to 5mm. The 470LT features a 1.2mm 3K carbon fiber main frame and a wider chassis design that increases the size of the battery compartment and allows the use of larger capacity batteries. The 470L uses a new torque drive unit that greatly reduces transmission wear and increases power output, allowing for more direct and precise flight performance and exceptional tail performance. The landing skid is tilted forward 5 degrees to improve fall safety and make the T-REX 470L more avant-garde and dynamic.

The T-REX 470LT is equipped with the large OD (1800KV/2818) 470MX motor, which is highly efficient and offers superior performance, excellent torque, improved current consumption and lower operating temperature, compared to the 460MX motor excellent improvement. Brand new DS450 digital cyclic servos and DS455 digital tail servo support high voltage inputs up to V8.4, improving servo torque and speed.
