Main Switch 100

The Main Switch is an electronic switch designed to switch the main power supply in an RC model. This provides a significant safety advantage when handling the model, eliminating the need to physically disconnect the model's batteries from the drive system. The Main Switch also prevents the formation of the familiar sparks that otherwise occur due to the pre-charging of the speed controller capacitors. Special anti-spark circuits or connectors are not required.

The main switch comes with the familiar magnetic switch, which can be replaced with the optionally available RC switch. The RC switch can be operated wirelessly using JETI Duplex transmitters. Although the main switch was primarily designed for use as a main switch in RC models, it can also be used for many other power supply switching applications.
The main switch measures the voltage and current flowing from the drive battery and can therefore transmit these values, along with the consumed battery capacity, to the JETI Duplex system via EX telemetry. The temperature of the main switch is also measured and displayed. Alarms can be set for maximum capacity, current, temperature, and minimum voltage.
