OMPHOBBY presents the Edge 540 74" in Carbon/Kevlar reinforced balsa version, covered with Oracover, very durable and in very bright colors. The Edge 540 is a 3D BEAST. This plane will do everything you want and much more .
If you don't like 3D flying, don't be afraid, this plane also flies very well as an Aresti aerobatic plane.

It can be equipped with a 30-40cc gasoline engine or a 3000-4000W brushless motor with a 6-12S LiPo battery. The extremely light balsa/plywood fuselage reinforced with Kevlar®/carbon composite, numerous carbon parts, a removable fiberglass cowl and a large canopy allowing perfect easy access to the entire power system and the RC equipment. The motor is mounted on a reinforced plywood/composite housing using a radial mount.
The two-piece wing made entirely of balsa with a symmetrical aerodynamic profile with a carbon wing key, the wing halves are attached with screws to the fuselage. The large ailerons are each controlled by a single servo. You can install the supplied SFG winglets on the wing tips.

The tailplane is light all in balsa, the "horizontal" tailplane is one-piece, glued into the fuselage. The elevator and rudder are controlled by servos to be installed in the rear part of the fuselage.

The main gear is carbon, fiberglass fairings, lightweight wheels and the tail wheel with carbon support is coupled to the fin.
