DESCRIPTION
WHAT DOES HV MEAN AT SAVÖX?

HV stands for high voltage. Savöx servos marked in this way can be operated with a voltage of up to 8.4V . The use of a 2s LiPo battery is possible without any problems. All HV servos can of course also be operated with a lower voltage from 4.8V, but less power is available here.



With the new SB-2290SG servo from SAVOX, the Taiwanese manufacturer Savöx has achieved a revolution in servo technology. The patented design of this monster ensures up to 35% more power, with proven standard installation dimensions.

This was achieved by integrating the brushless motor directly into the all-aluminum housing. In addition to a thermal advantage, this opens up the possibility of installing a larger motor. In order to optimally transfer the enormous actuating forces, a third ball bearing was integrated into the gearbox. A fully rubberized servo cable is also standard in this servo series. It protects the servo cable from damage, but is still flexible enough to be laid cleanly. The SB-2290SG is suitable for use in helicopters, RC cars and fixed-wing models. In the near future, the patented SB-229X series will be expanded to include additional servo types.

The torque of this monster leaves nothing to be desired, here are the technical details for 6, 7.4 and 8.4V

6V 45kg*cm with a travel time of 0.16s/60°
7.4V 55kg*cm with a travel time of 0 .13s/60°
8.4V 70kg*cm with a positioning time of 0.11s/60°
