WHAT DOES HV MEAN AT SAVÖX?

HV stands for high voltage. Savöx servos marked in this way can be operated with a voltage of up to 8.4V . The use of a 2s LiPo battery is possible without any problems. All HV servos can of course also be operated with a lower voltage from 4.8V, but less power is available here.



With the SV-1260MG, the Taiwanese manufacturer Savox has managed to develop one of the most powerful servos in the 15mm class. The technical data of this high-voltage servo is impressive: The positioning force at 7.4V is 12kg, with an extremely short positioning time of 0.065s at 60°. This is made possible by a powerful bell-shaped armature motor, which is significantly larger than previous motors of this size. An aluminum housing ensures good heat dissipation and is at the same time an extremely robust yet lightweight housing. The metal gear has a special coating and is extremely free of play. These attributes make it an ideal companion when power, positioning accuracy and freedom of play are required in the tightest of spaces. Whether as a wing servo in tall ships, a swashplate servo for helicopters in the 500/550 class or as a tail servo in large jet models, the SV-1260 knows how to impress.
